What is Grid Walk?

Grid Walk is DriversEye’s motorsports viewing schedule for every weekend during the 2020 season. We’ve done all the work of finding track schedules, standardizing time zones, and pairing it with the relevant live streaming links. We’ve included just about everything the average racing fan would want to watch – and some you might not. In short, if there’s racing this weekend, it’s on our Grid Walk.

While the Rolex 24 has historically been the official kickoff of “racing season,” it’s fair to say the 24 Hours of Dubai has made a name for itself over the last 14 years. Week 2 of 2020 hosts the Friday-into-Saturday endurance test for nearly 100 cars – certainly one of the highest density races of the year. The event this year is supported by the F3 Asian Championship – reasonably high performance single-seaters around (in our opinion) an underrated circuit.

The Asian Le Mans Series makes its first visit to Australia using the full 7.1km circuit at The Bend Motorsports Park – the first international series to use the layout. The ongoing fires around Australia haven’t posed any threat to the event thus far and are not expected to have an impact through the weekend.

Finally, if you’re up for some more grassroots racing, the SCCA Super Tour kicks off at Sebring: 325 cars covering seven race groups and nearly 30 classes. Super Tour Radio has live audio coverage of the event during the day Saturday and Sunday – highly recommended background listening!
